Schedule
07:45 - 08:30. Student sign-in and setup at Corwin Pavilion. Please be sure to:
Bring your lab notebook (or binder with printed evidence of data collection) in addition to your display board. If human or vertebrate animals subjects were used in the study be sure to include all forms for safe and ethical research from p. 8 - 10 of the Student Handbook.
Do NOT bring any biological samples, petri dishes, microbial life, flammable materials, etc. Bring pictures instead. All your setup should fit on the table in front of your tri-fold board display - nothing on the floor.
Bring a snack, FULL water bottle, and book to read.
Clothes - During Morning and Evening the dress code is semi-formal - nice, but dresses for girls and ties for boys are not required. BRING A BACKPACK WITH A CHANGE OF CLOTHES FOR THE AFTERNOON - LONG PANTS AND CLOSED TOED SHOES ARE REQUIRED FOR THE LAB TOURS.
Note - The Science Fair cannot be held responsible for loss of personal electronics. If a laptop or iPad is absolutely necessary for your display, please notify president@sbsciencefair.org before March 6.
08:30 - 09:00. Student orientation on Patio, and Judging preview (no student in Corwin judging area).
09:00 - 11:00/12:00 as needed - Judging in Corwin. Students come prepared with a quiet activity while waiting.
12:00 - 12:45 Lunch on Patio - catered by UCSB, free to participants.
1:00 - 3:00 - Activities to be determined.
3:00 - 7:00 Public viewing in Corwin Pavilion
7:00 - 7:30 Awards Ceremony. Please wear your nice clothes.

~7:45 - 8:15 Take down and remove Projects
Please note - if you cannot be present for the evening, please arrange to have your complete project removed from Corwin by 8:30 PM.
